Race description
The 5th Cholomon Trail mountain race is organized by the Chalkidiki Runners and Walkers Association “Ypsizonos” and offers three distances—10, 21, and 50 kilometers—through the dense forest of Cholomon. The routes cross trails lined with imposing trees and pass through natural landscapes of unparalleled beauty, offering a unique mountain-running experience. Free entry is also available to those who donate blood to the association’s blood bank. The race is supported by the Chalkidiki Regional Unit, the Municipality of Polygyros, and the Polygyros Forestry Department.

- 50 km with 2,800+ meters of elevation gain: 1 km paved road, 10 km dirt road, and 39 km trail
- 12-hour time limit, with a cutoff at 6 hours at the 30.5 km aid station

Additional information
Free entry for those who donate blood to the association’s blood bank (applies to the 10 km and 21 km races). Group registrations of 10 people receive a €5 discount for the 50 km and 21 km races, and a €2 discount for the 10 km race. All 50 km runners receive a hiking backpack, technical T-shirt, and commemorative medal. Payment must be made within 3 days of registration, and no later than 28/05/2026. Three different race distances, mountain-running races, start and finish in Polygyros, Chalkidiki, with a 12-hour time limit to complete the race.
