Race description
The South Olympus Forest Trail 54 km race starts from the square of the village Palios Panteleimonas Pierias and crosses trails with gentle slopes and impressive views. The route includes uphill and downhill sections, with a total ascent of about 2000 meters, passing through natural landscapes such as Lake Kati and the village of Palioi Poroi. There are many feeding stations and strict equipment criteria due to the season. The race offers a demanding but enchanting experience on forest trails and mountain landscapes of Olympus.
