2ο Φεστιβάλ Αθλητισμού Δυτικής Μάνης

The 2nd Western Mani Sports Festival is a two-day athletic event held in Stoupa Messinia, by the sea. It includes open water swimming at distances of 0.5 km, 1 km, and 2 km, running, children's races, and aquathlon. The 500-meter route is triangular with electronic timing and awards, and all participants receive a medal, bib, swim cap, technical T-shirt, and local products. The event is organized by the Municipality of Western Mani and proceeds support the volunteer association West Mani GAIA.

Participants under 18 years old need written parental consent. There are free children's races and aquathlon with running and swimming. Each participant receives bib, swim cap, technical T-shirt, and local products. The start of the swimming distances is early in the afternoon. The weather in June is hot and humid, with an average temperature of 32°C and humidity, so a morning start is recommended. Races on sea and mountain/asphalt trails, participation of children and adults, awards and distinctions, environmentally friendly and cultural activities.
