Race description
The Olympia International Marathon is a historic running event held in Ancient Olympia, the birthplace of Olympism. Runners have the opportunity to run along the historic "Sacred Way," crossing a route filled with cultural memory and athletic ideals. The event includes a Marathon, Half Marathon, 10 km, Family Run, and children's race, offering a unique athletic experience for all. The start and finish are at the Town Hall Square of Ancient Olympia, with full support and amenities for participants.

Additional information
Participants receive an electronic chip timing number, a commemorative medal and T-shirt, water, isotonic drink, energy beverage, and non-alcoholic beer at the finish line. There are 8 support stations with water, isotonic drinks, and energy gels. A medical check is mandatory for participation. Doping control is conducted by the Hellenic Anti-Doping Organization. There are changing rooms and toilets at the Town Hall of Ancient Olympia, as well as chemical toilets along the route. Runners must run on the right side of the road. The event is organized with participants from around the world, including activities and awards, emphasizing cultural heritage and the spirit of the Olympic Games.
