10ο Πέρασμα Του Αποστόλου Παύλου

The 10th Anniversary Road Race “The Passage of the Apostle Paul” is organized by the Holy Metropolis of Kitros, Katerini and Platamon, the Municipality of Pydna-Kolindros, and the “ZEUS” Athletic and Cultural Association of Runners of Pieria. The race is 10,000 meters long and follows a paved route through the villages of Methoni and Makrygialos. It starts at the Church of the Apostle Paul in Methoni’s central square and finishes at Ancient Pydna. The scenic route features gentle climbs and descents and is marked throughout.

The race is held under the auspices of the Hellenic Federation of Popular Mass Sports and Ultramarathons. Cultural associations and organizations from the area take part. Runners of all distances and sports enthusiasts are invited to run or walk the route. It takes place on June 20, 2026, with the start and finish at Ancient Pydna, and includes cultural and sporting activities.
