Race description
The Ursa Trail race in Metsovo is a demanding mountain race offering routes for all runners, from the ultra marathon of 100 km with 5,700 meters of elevation gain, to shorter distances such as 40 km, 21 km, 11 km, and the vertical race Katara Vertical 4.6 km. The course crosses beautiful trails and mountains of the area, providing unique natural scenery and technical challenges. The race is certified by the ITRA and is an important event for mountain running enthusiasts in Greece. The organization ensures the safety and support of athletes with supply points and technical assistance along the route.
