SNF Nostos Run

The SNF Nostos Run 2026 is a much-loved evening road race organized by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, returning on June 23 to celebrate 30 years of the SNF’s philanthropic work. The race features 10 km, 6 km, and 1 km routes for Special Olympics athletes, starting at the Panathenaic Stadium and finishing at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center. The event emphasizes giving and solidarity: the SNF will contribute three times the total amount raised through participant fees to support nonprofit organizations. Along the route, participants will enjoy music from percussion bands and a DJ set at the finish. Timing is official, but the race is non-competitive.

The race is non-competitive, but official timing will be provided. The event is organized in collaboration with the nonprofit organization Anagennisi & Proodos, under the scientific supervision of Sports Excellence, the Department of Athletic Excellence at the First Department of Orthopaedic Surgery of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. The SNF will contribute three times the total amount raised through participant fees to support the nonprofits Lampsi and Pnoe Agapis. The urban routes are designed to emphasize charitable action and support for organizations serving children with cancer and cancer patients. The event also includes a special 1 km route for Special Olympics athletes.
