Serifos Sunset Race

The Serifos Sunset Race 2026 is a unique athletic event combining running and swimming races on the enchanting island of Serifos, taking place on the weekend of September 12-13, 2026. The routes include 5 and 10 kilometer road races starting and ending at Vagia beach, as well as swimming competitions of 750m, 1,500m, and 3,000m in the Livadi Bay. The event offers a one-of-a-kind sunset running experience, ideal for runners and swimmers of all levels. Additionally, participants have the opportunity to visit the beautiful Serifos and enjoy local activities and hospitality.

The 5 km race starts at 17:50 from Vagia. There is lifeguard and rescue coverage. Car and motorcycle rentals are available on the island. Serifos is connected by ferry to Piraeus, Lavrio, and other Cyclades islands. Volunteer opportunities are available for the organization. The event includes running and swimming races, with detailed information on routes, safety, awards, and registration. The events take place at Vagia and Livadi beaches.
