Race description
Kilkis Trail is organized by the Kilkis Runners’ Health Association and offers a variety of races, including the main 20-kilometer trail race, a 4.8 km health run, a 4x4.8 km relay, and a 1 km children’s race. The Kilkis Trail course follows trails and dirt roads around the city of Kilkis, with gentle slopes and technical sections, covering approximately 850 meters of elevation gain. The start and finish are at the Kilkis summer cinema, offering runners a beautiful and challenging experience. The race takes place on Sunday, June 7, 2026, and is open to runners of all levels.

The Kilkis Trail course is marked with signs, course tape, and markers. The cutoff time for the Kilkis Trail is 13:00, 3.5 hours after the start. Bib pickup is on Saturday 17/6 at Town Hall Square and on Sunday 18/6 at the start area, from 7:30 a.m. until 15 minutes before the start. There are cafés and food shops near the start-finish area.
