Coast To Coast Run

The Coast to Coast Run in Ierapetra, Crete, is a 21,100-meter half marathon starting at Pachia Ammos beach and finishing at Minos Square in Ierapetra. It crosses the narrowest point of Crete, passing beautiful natural scenery and the Ha Gorge. A 5,000-meter race and a 1,000-meter children’s race are also held in the town of Ierapetra. The event has a cultural and tourism focus, offering a unique experience that connects the north and south coasts of eastern Crete. The organizers provide transportation for athletes and ensure the races are held safely.

Half-marathon participants are transported by bus from Minos Square until 08:00 a.m. The 5,000-meter race and the 5,000-meter Health Run & Power Walking event start and finish at Minos Square. There is also a 1,000-meter children’s race. The event includes various routes and activities, highlighting the beauty of nature and community participation.
