Race description
The Kissavos Marathon Race «Evangelos Koumparos» is an annual mountain running event held in the area of Agia, Larissa. The route starts from the square of Agia and crosses enchanting forest trails, picturesque mountain villages, and natural springs, reaching the top of Mount Kissavos at 1,978 meters with stunning views of the Aegean Sea. The race offers a unique experience in a protected scenic forest, part of the NATURA 2000 network.
