Race description
The 4th Mountain Race of Handrino is organized by the Athletic and Cultural Association of Handrino 'HANDRINIKOS' and will take place on Sunday, April 19, 2026, in Handrino, Messinia. It features mountain races with routes of 11 km and 6 km, as well as a children's running race of 1 km. The course starts from the 'Platania' park within the settlement and ends at the top of the conical Mount Prophet Elias, offering panoramic views of all of Messinia and the surrounding landscapes. The race combines natural beauty, athletic challenge, and local tradition, inviting runners and visitors to enjoy a unique mountain running experience.
