2ο Amanitis Trail

The Amanitis Trail 2027 race offers a unique mountain running experience in central Chios, starting from the picturesque semi-mountain village of Avgonima with a view of the Aegean. The 40-kilometer route passes through historic and natural landscapes, such as the medieval village of Anavato and the isolated Agios Sideros, offering a variety of trails, dirt roads, and panoramic views. The finish line is again at Avgonima, completing an authentic adventure in the nature and history of the island. There are also options for shorter routes of 7 and 21 kilometers, suitable for beginners and more experienced runners respectively.

Participants receive a race number and timing chip, feeding stations along the route, a commemorative finisher medal, and a technical race t-shirt with a choice of two designs until 20/2/26. There are age categories and participation requirements for the 40KM race regarding previous mountain race experience. Participants enjoy feedings along the route, commemorative medals, and technical t-shirts, with participation conditions for athletes and detailed regulations.
