Race description
The 24th Kalamata Running Race is an official 10-kilometer race organized by the Messinia Health Runners Club and is dedicated to the Special Kindergarten and Special School. The course is certified by World Athletics and SEGAS, flat, paved, and fast, along the Kalamata beach, with start and finish lines at the Central Square. There are also parallel events, such as a 10 km power walk, a 1.5 km children's race, and a 500 m Special Olympics race. The race offers official times and support for runners along the route.

Support stations are available at 5 km and 7.5 km along the route. Pace runners are available. Participation is open to individuals aged 15 and above for the 10 km race, 12 and above for the 10 km power walk, and children and parents for the 1.5 km children's race. The 500 m Special Olympics race is for people with disabilities (AΜΕΑ) with escorts. Registrations are conducted online. The event includes participation in various categories, online registration, and a free children's race. The start and finish are at Kalamata Central Square, with approximately 2,000 participants of all ages.
