22ος Δρόμος Θυσίας «Αγγελής Γοβιός»

The “Angelis Govios” Road of Sacrifice is a historic road race being held for the 22nd year in Psachna, Evia, organized by the Psachna Runners and Walkers Association under the auspices of the Municipality of Dirfys-Messapia. The race includes 15 km, 5 km, and 1 km routes for children and people with disabilities, honoring the memory of the great Evian revolutionary military leader Angelis Govios and the late Mayor Giorgos Psathas. The race starts in Psachna’s central square, and entry is free, with ample refreshments provided. The 15 km route is 50% unpaved, with a total elevation gain of +131 meters, while the 5 km and 1 km routes are entirely on asphalt with minimal elevation gain.

Registration takes place on race day at the start area and is free. Registration opens at 15:00. Ample refreshments are provided for runners. The event takes place on 29 May 2027, with the race starting at 17:00. It includes routes for all ages and levels, promoting sport and historical remembrance.
