1ος Διεθνής Ημιμαραθώνιος «Νικηταράς»

The 1st International Nikitaras Half Marathon 2026 is an off-stadium road race organized under the auspices of the Municipality of Tripoli, as part of a three-day event in honor of Giannis Kourou. The race starts from Ano Doliána and finishes in Tripoli, offering a unique experience for runners wishing to participate in an international half marathon. The event emphasizes safety and route quality, with a limited number of participants for better organization and runner health.

The race is invitational with a limited number of participants for safety and organizational reasons. The route is mainly hilly with old paved roads, but also includes dirt roads and trails where runners are encouraged to bring flashlights for possible night crossings. Includes a three-day event program, volunteer opportunities, and a route from Ano Doliána to Tripoli.
