13ος Αυξέντιος Δρόμος

The 13th Axentios Race is a 7.4-kilometer running event held in the Pirouniana area, Heraklion, Crete. The start and finish are located in the courtyard of the Holy Spirit Church. The route is circular and crosses rural dirt roads and accessible trails, passing through significant local attractions such as the Pirouniana settlement, the stone fountain, Saint George Chosto (11th century), the waterfall, and the forest. The race is open to men, women, teenagers, and young women and offers an opportunity for athletic activity in a natural and historical environment.

Transportation to the start is available by bus or alternatively by private vehicles and farm vehicles. There are sports events for all ages. The race includes categories for men and women by age groups. The route has minimal asphalt and is nature-oriented. Distances of 7.4 km and 600 m, rural trail, three age categories, finish in the courtyard of the Holy Spirit Church, includes competitive categories and routes for students and young women.
