10ος Μαραθώνιος Κρήτης

The 10th Crete Marathon is an internationally recognized sporting event held in the beautiful city of Chania. Dedicated to the memory of the Blessed Metropolitan Eirinaios Galanakis, the race includes routes for the marathon, 10 km, 5 km, and 2.5 km, each with a special dedication and historical significance. The course starts and finishes at the National Sports Center of Chania, passing through important points of the city, offering a unique running experience in an urban and natural environment. The event is supported by the Chania Health Runners Club and local authorities, emphasizing quality and tradition.

The races start at different times depending on the distance: Marathon at 07:00, 10 km at 07:30, 5 km at 08:30, and 2.5 km at 11:30. Participants receive an official backpack and a face towel as participation gifts. Registration is available online or in cash at the SDC of Chania. There is a cancellation policy with a refund until January 31, 2026. The routes are dedicated to important personalities of Crete and Greece. Official items include t-shirts, towels, and backpacks. The event has a cultural and memorial character, with participation from clubs and organizations of Crete.
